Welcome to Camping du Giffre. Located between Morzine and Chamonix, near the cirque du Fer à Cheval, the village of Samoëns welcomes lovers of the mountain and snow lovers.
Samoëns is a village resort and is attached to the Grand Massif. Different ski packages are available depending on the level of each : the beginners area at Samoëns 1600 until full access domain with its 265 km of slopes. The Giffre valley is proprice multiple other activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, or practice ice skating on the new rink.
The village center is a friendly place and meetings where it is good to walk at night, the shops are local specialties, all in a friendly atmosphere for the proposed activities.

The village of Samoëns
Located at the bottom of the Vallée du Giffre, Samoëns is a small village in Haute-Savoie which has retained its authenticity.
Samoëns is placed next to the domain of the Grand Massif where skiing takes place on an area of over 200 km of slopes.
On the other hand, the Col de Joux Plane is a haven for lovers of the mountain and nature with many cross-country ski trails and an exceptional view of the Mont Blanc.
The ski resort
The site located 100 meters from the nearest gondola car which takes guests to the slopes within minutes. Upon arrival at Samoëns 1600, the resort has a beginners area with a play area for children.
For the curious, the Samoëns station is attached to the ski area of the Grand Massif. This area includes the resort of Flaine, the Carroz, Morillon, Sixt Fer-a-Cheval and therefore also Samoëns. That on this area which is one of the largest of what France proposed a wide range of skiing to suit the practice of each. Of the most technical tracks for the most experienced to the most peaceful land for families and those looking for a practical leisure facing an exceptional panorama amid the Haute-Savoie mountains overlooking the Chain of Mont Blanc.
