The Grand Massif ski area which includes the resorts of Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Sixt and Samoens. For this, the resort offers a fleet of nearly one hundred ski lifts for more than 140 tracks. Samoëns and Morillon are the foot area 750 meters above sea level, the summit is meanwhile at 2500 meters. With its 265 km of slopes, the Grand Massif is part of the largest ski areas in France.
However, the Samoëns resort offers restricted access to its station for those wishing to enjoy the pleasures of winter sports in the most economic conditions. The Samoëns resort also offers cross-country ski tracks that are, in turn, at the foot of the resort near the camp site.
